I have been a customer of StartLogic for the past three years, and my analysis of them is as follows. The first two years of my subscription with them went pretty good mainly because I was operating a basic website. There is only one exception however, which is that I was expecting that I will be sent a reminder to renew my domain name as well as the hosting plan with them. I was not sent a timely reminder and that cost me $160 in redemption fees. Lately I upgraded my website to the Joomla! platform and although I admit that my website's code is pretty garbled, I expect it to run fine a few days from now if it works fine today. However I was constantly getting problems every now and then, for example sometimes the cache setting within the administration panel would change by itself, sometimes the images would simply refuse to appear white at other times there would simply be an error instead of my homepage. I contacted their support multiple times and they told me that they were kind of upgrading their databases which was causing the issue. However this continued to happen consistently. Finally, they refused to accept my credit card, the same one that they had been charging previously without problems. I really don't know what goes wrong with them sometimes. However, two weeks ago I got to the point where I finally decided to switch away from them to another web hosting company MyHosting. So far I'm pretty happy with them and I would advise other people who are looking for a decent host to stay away from StartLogic because they have started to suck in terms of not only core functionality but also the quality of their support team.

I've been really impressed with the unbeatable price offered by StartLogic web hosting. I bought their ProLogic web hosting plan recently for $5.95 per month and I'm really happy with the services I am getting. I also got $100 credit in Google adwords which is a good jumpstart for my website in terms of promotion. Setup was instant, and downtime has been minimal. On top of this, the customer support at StartLogic has been very helpful to me. If you're looking for cheap web hosting that comes with quality customer support, StartLogic is the way to go.
